Exams are officially over! I really don't wanna talk about it anymore. What is done, is done. Yeah, I think you've guessed it. It was a major screw up. I'm actually quite happy we're having a second trial for chemistry cause I screwed up the actual one. Okay, enough about school.
27/09/08 (Saturday)Rachel picked me up from tuition around 6pm and we headed to Jalan Telawi, Bangsar. Thanks dear :) Bought Sean a small cake at BV 1 and we went for a drink at Starbucks.
Kenneth smsed around 7pm. He was already there. Rach and I walked up to
Telawi Street Bistro and guess what? I saw 2 familiar figures walking our way, but I couldn't really make out who it was. I really need glasses. Anyhow, it turned out to be Erwan and YeeKan.
Basically, we were just chilling on the 2nd floor of TSB. We got the table outside, looking down on the road and just talked till Sean smsed me. He was waiting for me at BV 1. Rachel and I were responsible for procrastinating till everyone arrived.
We brought Sean over to TSB around 8ish. The whole group was waiting upstairs. I got the waiter to arrange a table for us 3 at the TSB cafe. Then, Rachel smsed the group to come down. Everyone came down quietly and scared Sean from behind. Quite a surprise eh, Sean? He looked so touched and surprised :)
I'm happy everything went according to plan. When we were all seated upstairs, Sean witnessed someone robbing a woman on the road. He had a clear view from where he was sitting. Such things shouldn't happen at Bangsar considering that it's a high end area. It's scary when you actually think about it. Are people these days that desperate for money till they have to resort to stealing/robbing in public?
After dinner, Sean and I headed to the
bar for a drink. It was inside TSB of course. JunKit joined us later.

Left TSB about 10pm =) Happy Belated Birthday, Sean! I hope you like the Zara shirt we bought for you!
ps. Thanks Rachel and Jun Kit for helping me plan the surprise party!! Labels: party

*omfg! have to study all over again. wtf!!!! is this some kindda torture?!?!

of wasted efforts.

English and Maths 2.English 2 was just plain horrible. What Masai and Kikuyu tribal?!? wtf. And I thought we could all relax a bit for it. Why la? Ms Tye showed no mercy in setting the paper. Gosh.. Hmm, let's hope she isn't strict with the marking.
Chemistry. Just to let you know. I fucking stayed up till
2.30am in the morning studying Soaps, Detergents, Aspirin, Carbon Compounds, Redox Cell, Rusting and I memorised the steps to produce detergents. I just flipped through the Form 4 chapters cause I was too sleepy to carry on.
I was so desperate to stay up late, so I kept eating to keep myself awake. wtf. Brands Essence of Chicken doesn't work for me anymore. Need to stick to coffee.
anyway guess what...?
Not even 1 fucking question came out for paper 2 despite us studying like hell for it. Eyh hello, isn't it a Trial paper? What happened to the Form 5 chapters! It was like a Form 4 paper. Fuckkk it.
All of us studied and stayed up late for nothing. I guess everyone was kindda disappointed/angry that most of the Form 5 chapters weren't asked. Yeah, it was like wasted efforts. And everyone was panicking in the morning..
The worst part was all the questions were so unpredictable. The experiment was Redox Cell. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. We failed to spot that question >.< And never thought that it would actually be asked. I guess we were too busy laughing away after Chem 2?
-----------
Hmm, honestly, I never thought that Mr S would allow the cheras teacher to set the paper. I mean yeah, since the beginning of form 4, he had always set paper 2 and 3. Well, he claimed that he wanted to see how we fare in a SPM standard paper.
I prefer Mr S's paper over this one. I think we should really be tested on what we have learned so far, cause we never done any questions before. And we studied like hell for the last few chapters on form 5. He said, what had never came out in previous exams would be asked now. So we were guessing he was setting the paper. Like he always did in the past.
And because the paper isn't up to his 'high-standards', we have the
resit for HIS PAPERS later on. Mannnnn, 2nd round of Chem?!?
Mmm... he took our study leave next Thursday!
'I don't think any of you studied hard for the exam, so you shouldn't have your break after trias. I want all of you to be present at school, not absenteeism tolerated...Understand???'whatever....
Sejarah and Physics is calling me. I have to go now :) good luck!

GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR SPM TRIALS, EVERYONE :)
Like what Sean said, this is gonna be the most challenging exam yet. I guess, most of us are gonna resort to burning the midnight oil again. This is gonna be a long and tiring week.
After all the hard work we've put in for the past 2 years, this is the last time for us to prove ourselves to the teachers that we can do this. And we're not the so called,
rubbish batch :) After all, our teachers had done a good job in teaching us. Not to mention how dedicated they are. All the extra classes, lectures and tolerating our rubbish. Though we may not like it sometimes, but I guess they just want us to do well. Thank you!
Once again, all the best to the Form 5 cempakans!Labels: exam

I feel so tired these days. Constantly having bad headaches in the morning. Maybe stressing too much and not enough sleep. I try not to be so hard on myself, but it just gets to me. I don't know why. I mean, everyone has expectations right? My parents expect me to do well, and I do too. They paid so much money to send me to this school and I think the least I could do is to not disappoint them.
Trials is gonna be our last school-based exam. Setara's not counted. It's after the Raya holidays anyway.HAHAHAHAHA.
We just managed to finish our Chemistry and Accounts syllabus this week. Phew. I wonder how long would it take for him to tie up all the loose ends?
Hmm.. 2 more days to Trials! We're gonna have it in the hall so that we can get the 'feel' of the real exam. It's kindda scary having it in the hall.
Mr S is worried for us cause we're still fooling around in class. Yeah, like he said, he has never seen a batch like us before. Too bad. There's a 1st time for everything.
Went for school for nothing today >.< Chemistry from 9.30 am till 3.30 pm. Oh god... They screened Cempaka Scene at the end of the day. They showed the 'Wicthes of Oz' video. Those were the care-free and happy times. I guess they're trying to promote 'West Side Story'.

the marching collar pin. nice eh =)
I shall blog after trials :)
On my London trip..

I just came back from London yesterday morning. I'm still quite tired. I spent half my day sleeping today.
1 week to trials. The thought of that really freaks me out. I've never felt so unprepared and scared for an exam. I can't seem to recall what I've been doing for the past few months. Everything seems like a blur. Wasted all my time having fun and going out. wtf.
I shall blog about my London trip/ bro's graduation right after trials.
Thanks for the bday wishes :)
good luck studying.
