finally.

I went to school late today and Mr S saw me. Oh no, BUSTED! Was kindda surprised he didn't say anything about it in class, for once. Lots of people brought their camera today, and we took pictures in class, canteen and everyone was watching. It'll be their turn soon anyway. Time flies faster than you know it.

Steph managed to record Mr S teaching Redox Cell. Obviously he didn't notice the camera was right infront of him. This would be something to laugh at after we leave school. No more running to class after break, drinking coffee to stay awake and definitely no more lunch classes, lecturing and LAME JOKES!

Tomorrow is Testimonial Day. I wonder how would it turn out to be like. Would everyone be crying when Alia gives her valedictorian speech? I'm guessing, yes. We've all built very strong friendships here, and maybe for some people, something more than just friends. It's hard to say goodbye at the end of the day.

I'm happy we're having prom. It's always nice to end high school with a wonderful night, where everyone would be all dressed up to meet up once again before going our own separate ways.

Steph and I were thinking of inviting the teachers to prom. We should. It's courtesy. After 2 years of heartache and stress teaching us, we do owe them something. And I think the least we could do to repay them is to spend our last moment in high school together with them :) But the only thing is, we'll have to pay for their tickets. Which I don't know how many people would actually agree to it.

Well, imagine Mr S and Cik Z coming to prom together! Hahahaha. I'm sorry, Erwan!

Anyway, I think I had better get my camera charged now. Tomorrow is gonna be a crazy day :)

p.s. We shall be breaking school rules!

SPM's getting closer, by the day. Now it's like, whoa, everything seems like a killer. And, it is in another 2 weeks? No way.

Hmm... If you do well in spm, then congrats, you can work in mc donalds. If not, you'll end up selling char kuey tiau at imbi road. See? SPM determines your future. wtf.

I wonder whether I should be happy for my sister for choosing international school. Yeah, she's moving to cheras next year to start year 10. I'm kindda worried for her, for some reason. That means, no sejarah, no bm, no moral, no crap. Sigh. Why do I have to go through all this and she's having a jolly good time in international school ?!?

Once again, good luck with all your kalifah, turki uthmaniyah, tamadun india :)

Don't stress!

now that it's all coming to an end.

Nothing much has been going on. Just school, skipping school, revision and so on. Got back our trials results and all. Life isn't happening now. How dull.

I hate my sister. Her PMR is over. She's so free DOING NOTHING. But hey, it's JUST PMR. Hahaha.

SPM is in another 21 days or so. I mean like, wow, seriously?

I'm quite thankful we're having Monday and Tuesday off because of deepavali, otherwise we wouldn't stand a chance to skip chem class.

Watching primary kids dancing with their Bollywood songs really gets you in the deepavali mood. We should bring murukku to school, sit by the staircase during lunch and watch :)

Next week marks the end of our high school life. I find it hard to believe that we'll be going our own separate ways in a weeks time. We have all made many good friends throughout our high school life. And hopefully at the end of all this, we'll still be friends, for a lifetime. I'll always remember all the tears, laughter and joy we shared. These memories last a lifetime.

I'm really looking forward to testimonial day. Happy that we're finally graduating from high school, sad that we're all gonna part. I remember watching last year's batch of Form 5s playing 'backstreet boys' in the canteen. And Erwan was like, "it'll be our turn next year." Yeah, and now, it's our time. I really wonder whether anyone would breakdown and cry. That would be a scene.

Anyway, study hard everyone :)

Just think of the joy of tearing every page of your sejarah text book into the fire. Good idea to have a bbq party XD Roast meat with sejarah text book. Yeah, I think that's a good idea. And I finally found a purpose for the book.

guide to last minute studying.

Since we're having chemistry tmrw. I thought of some tips to share.

Yes, how to study chemistry in just one night?

Actually, it isn't that hard. The key to success is: BURN THE MIDNIGHT OIL.

That's right. Here's how you do it.

1) Always have enough sleep before you start studying. So you can stay up till god knows what time.

2) After you wake up from your afternoon nap, get some coffee. It's the best stimulant you can find.

Ehhh, coffee is essential for studying chemistry, k? It applies for Mr S class and studying HIS subject.

Nescafe, in can. This is my favourite cause it is very convenient. Suitable for lazy people like me :)

OR

Make your own HOT COFFEE. Don't take Decaf coffee. It's useless. You don't wanna fall asleep when you're in the middle of studying chemistry right? Must buy coffee with caffeine ok?

3) If you're hungry, go for something like chocolate. Cause it contains amphetamine =.= remember to stock your fridge up with chocolate.

Must have variety, k? Godiva, Cadbury, Mars bar, Twix and whatever brand you can find on the market except for china products. You don't wanna die half way doing chemistry kan?

4) Find a nice spot in your house. If you're someone with short attn span. Try studying at different spots. Try the kitchen, living room, dining room, your siblings room, store room, balcony, or sit on top of any table. Your last choice should be your own room cause you spend most of your time surrounded by those 4 walls. It's a very boring environment. It's not like the subject isn't boring enough. Anyway, your bed is most likely to be there also. I don't think you'd wanna end up sleeping with your chem notes on your face.

5) Do some hard core chemistry with his notes. Skip all unnecessary explanations cause you only have 1 night left to study. Don't study too late. Must have enough sleep. I think 2 hours would be just fine. Go to sleep at 4am and wake up for school. If you can tahan that is.

6) Remember to set your alarm clocks. I mean really really loud ones. I can recommend one product for you. Hoseki. This alarm clock can seriously bring the roof down. Very useful for pigs like me. Must be mentally prepared before you think of setting the alarm. The loudspeakers specially built in the alarm clock can give you a shock of your life. Put it this way, you're waking up in shock. HAHAHAHA.

Remember to purchase this alarm clock before spm, ok? This is a special product for DESPERATE PEOPLE.

Golden rule for exam: NEVER BE LATE!

7) I'm sure you'll be a little groggy when you wake up. Just before you leave school, take this.

BRANDS ESSENCE OF CHICKEN. No joke, k? You see in Focus SPM, all the top scorers taking this. HAHAHAHA. But it's seriously good, you know? It's a must for exams to keep you in top condition after a sleepless night :)

I'm done. Goodluck to all for chemistry tmrw!

langkawi; island of legends.

Thursday, October 2, 2008, 2:05 PM

Considering all the free time we have now, we should really think about our trip to langkawi, seriously. Hmm, I highly doubt we have extra time to plan it after the raya holidays cause we'll be too busy freaking out for spm. Right?

I hope we can get a nice hotel to stay in with a reasonable price, but I know it's impossible. So, I can only dream of staying there :) I'm too poor.

Meritus Pelangi Hotel. I've been there before. The rooms are built in a traditional kampung style. Nice eh.

Langkawi Lagoon. It's more of a water chalet thing.

I've been to one at Port Dickson. It's something like, 'you can HEAR the sea when you sleep, SEE the sea when you shower', that kindda thing. Ohh, and during high tide, the hotel would knock on your door carrying fishing rods, crab nets and sotong. Why? They rent it to you for fishing purposes. All you have to do is to lower the crab net with the sotong and wait at the balcony of the chalet staring at the dirty sea. Classy eh? Fishing at your balcony.

I was still in primary school when I went to PD. So, I was like this monkey jumping around tying wet sotong on the crab nets since my other 2 siblings refuse to do the dirty job. wtf. So much for brotherly and sisterly love. In the end, we managed to catch a few small crabs but we ended up throwing them back in the sea. You don't expect me to keep a crab in our hotel room, do you? God knows what that little devil can do to you? Maybe give you pinch in your sleep?

The conclusion is, hotels know how to make money. Sometimes, over the stupidest things.

Okay, I'm digressing a little too much. Back to Langkawi.

This is Westin Langkawi.

Sometimes what we see in pictures are rather misleading. Why? Because hotels hire professional photographers to take photos which can look totally different.

Guys, please keep Dec 5 to Dec 7 free.

Or if you can't make it that time, please give me a heads up 1st, alright? We'll fix another time when everyone is free. We need to get this done asap. I believe this can be done by the end of this holiday right :) So please, help me out by confirming the dates asap. I'm sure we would all want a nice holiday after spm right? We can't do anything without you guys confirming. So yeah, please remember!

Think, beach, sea, banana boat, jet ski, ISLAND HOPPING :)

* let's hope some people don't fall in the sea, by accident. HAHAHA.
